Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

Why are applications for Fall 2025 currently closed?

We're making improvements to our online application. To finish the upgrade, we're not accepting new applications to next year's programs until October. Applications for programs starting later this academic year are being accepted without interruption.

I was told to apply right now for Fall 2025 to have the best chance of being admitted. Now I have to wait until October. Does this make me less likely to be admitted?

No. If you had planned to apply in September, all you need to do is apply as soon as possible in October.

I already applied for Fall 2025. Do I need to do anything right now?
No. We'll be in touch with you as we process your application.
How can I edit the application I already submitted for Fall 2025?
Please email
Why are some programs accepting applications, and others are not?

Programs that start later this academic year are currently accepting applications. Programs that start in the next academic year will begin accepting applications in early October.

What is the exact date in October I can apply for Fall 2025 programs?

We can't provide an exact date at this time. Applications will open in early October. We'll announce an exact opening date on this web page as soon as its available.

I'm an international student who requested that my application be deferred to Fall 2025. Is my deferral application still being processed?
Yes. We'll be in contact with you as we process your deferral request.
I wanted to apply immediately to a Fall 2025 competitive-entry program, but now I have to wait until October. Does this put my application at any disadvantage?

No. The September closure and October opening for applications to competitive-entry programs starting in Fall 2025 has absolutely no effect on how your application will be considered.

I was told to reapply to maintain my spot on the waitlist, but applications are currently closed. What do I do?
When it is time for you to reapply, we'll notify you. Your position on the waitlist isn't affected.
I would like to pursue part-time classes. How should I submit the application?

Registration for part-time courses is always available. You'll find registration information on the web page of the part-time course you're interested in.

How does an international student submit a deferral request?

Deferrals for the September 2024 term can be submitted up to the 5th scheduled day of classes. Please submit a Deferral Request form.

I want to apply for a program but don’t see it listed above. How do I apply?

Registration information for programs not listed here, including Continuing Education courses, is available on the web page for each program. View the A-Z Program Listing to find the web page for the program you're interested in and follow the registration directions on that web page.
